Release 2.0 – New capabilities, Enterprise plan & 140+ enhancements

Viewteam product update

We’re excited to announce one of the most significant releases in Viewteam’s history.

This update introduces:

• 6 major new platform capabilities
• Our new Enterprise plan
• 140+ enhancements across the product

These enhancements include a mix of:

• New customer-facing functionality
• Workflow and usability improvements
• Performance, reliability, and scalability upgrades behind the scenes

Many of these updates have been shaped directly by customer feedback as we continue evolving Viewteam for modern hybrid workplace management.

New platform capabilities

Check-in & Auto-release

Viewteam now includes a built-in check-in functionality for the first time. Users can confirm attendance when they arrive, while unused bookings can be automatically released to improve space utilisation and availability. This optional configuration helps organisations make better use of workplace capacity while reducing wasted bookings.

Permanently assigned spaces

We’ve introduced support for permanently assigned desks and spaces. This allows organisations to combine assigned and flexible workspace models more effectively, supporting a broader range of hybrid working approaches.

Outlook integration (Enterprise plan only)

Our new Microsoft Outlook integration connects workspace bookings more closely with users’ calendars and schedules. Features include:

• Book meeting rooms from Outlook
• Booking and calendar synchronisation
• Add booking to calendar
• Improved scheduling visibility
• Reduced booking conflicts

This functionality is only available as part of the new Enterprise plan.

SCIM user provisioning (Enterprise plan only)

Enterprise plan customers can now take advantage of automated SCIM user provisioning via Microsoft Entra ID. This enables:

• Automated user lifecycle management
• Group and role synchronisation
• Reduced manual administration

Space photos (Enterprise plan only)

Spaces can now include photos to help users visualise where they are booking. This improves the booking experience and provides a more intuitive representation of workplace environments. Available within the Enterprise plan.

Introducing the Enterprise plan

This release also marks the launch of our new Enterprise plan.

Enterprise is designed for organisations requiring:

• Advanced integrations
• Enhanced user provisioning
• Greater administrative control
• Improved scalability

Enterprise includes features such as:

• Outlook integration
• SCIM user provisioning
• Space photos to help visually see what you are booking

Our previous single product plan has been renamed as the Essentials plan. Existing customers will remain on the Essentials plan, retaining all existing functionality while also receiving a wide range of new improvements included within this release. Existing customers can choose to upgrade to the new Enterprise plan at any time.

140+ enhancements across the platform

Alongside these new capabilities, we’ve delivered more than 140 enhancements across 13 product areas.
